Late Collection Policy

At Highrise, we understand that occasional delays happen. However, to ensure fairness to our staff and smooth operations, we strictly enforce our late collection policy.

Collection Time Expectations

  • Parents/guardians must collect their child promptly at the scheduled end time of their session.

  • If you anticipate being late, please notify us as soon as possible.

Late Collection Fees

As our staff are working scheduled hours, to accomodate for the additional staffing costs incurred we charge the following late collection fees.

  • A grace period of 10 minutes is allowed after the scheduled pick-up time

  • Beyond this, a late fee will apply as follows:

    • 10-20 minutes late: $10 fee

    • 20-30 minutes late: $20 fee

    • Beyond 30 minutes: $20 plus an additional $1 per minute thereafter.

  • Fees must be paid before the child’s next session

Repeated Late Collections

  • Frequent late pick-ups (determined at Highrise’s discretion) may result in a meeting with management to discuss ongoing participation.

  • In extreme cases, continued late collection may impact a child’s enrollment in Highrise programs.

Emergency Situations

  • We understand that emergencies occur. If you are unexpectedly delayed, please contact us immediately so we can make necessary arrangements.

  • If a child is not collected within 45 minutes and no contact has been made, we may need to contact emergency contacts or relevant authorities as per child safety guidelines.
